본 연구의 목적은 집단미술치료를 통해 보호관찰 청소년들의 우울(Depression)감소에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 G시의 보호 관찰소에서 보호관찰 처분 2호 이상을 받은 남자 중학생 5명으로 절도가 공통항목으로 들어가 있다. 집단미술치료는 2008년 4월 15일부터 2008년 5월 30일까지 주 2회씩 회기당 90분으로 총 12회기를 실시하였다. 연구도구는 자가 평정 우울척도(Self-rating Depression Scale), 빗속의 사람(PITR : Person-In- The-Rain)검사이며, 사전․사후검사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSSWIN Version 12.0 Program에 의해 비모수 검증(nonparametric test)인 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검증방법(Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test)을 사용하여 우울질문지를 사전, 사후로 검증하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단미술치료가 보호관찰 청소년의 우울을 감소시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사전점수(43.80)에 비해 사후점수(39.40)가 4.4점 감소하였다. 즉, 보호관찰 청소년의 우울은 집단미술치료 프로그램에 의해 감소하였다. 둘째, 그림검사인 빗속의 사람검사(PITR)는 우울감소에 변화가 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해서 집단미술치료가 보호관찰 청소년의 우울 감소에 긍정적인 효과가 있다는 결론을 얻었다.
\'This study is to see if group art therapy is effective in reducing the depression of the Juveniles under probation. Study subjects are five middle schoolers who, being accused of theft, are in the probational detention with the second degree. The therapy program consisted of a total of 12 sessions from April 15 through May 30, 2008, with two sessions a week and each session lasting 90 minutes. Study tools were pretest and posttest on SDS (Self-rating Depression Scale) and PITR (Person-in-the-Rain). Data analysis was achieved through SPSSWIN 12.0, using pretest and posttest on the depression questionnaire in terms of Nonparametric test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results are as follows. First, group are therapy is effective in reducing the depression level of juveniles under probation to the extent that posttest average was 43.80 which was 4.4 lower than 39.40 of posttest average. Second, PITR showed less depression on the subject. So, it has been proved that group art therapy has a positive effect on reducing the depression of the juveniles under probation.
