본 연구는 우울․불안 및 위축 행동으로 인하여 정서적 어려움을 겪고 있는 소아암 환아에게 심리적 개입이 필요하다는 판단으로 실시하게 되었다. 연구의 목적은 소아암 환아에게 미술놀이 치료를 실시하여 우울․불안 및 위축행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상아동은 우울․불안 및 위축행동으로 인하여 무기력하고 유치원과 가정에서 어려움을 겪고 있는 6세 1개월 된 소아암 환아이다. 프로그램은 60분씩 주 1회 총 16회기로 구성되어 있다. 자료 분석을 위한 도구로는 \'아동, 청소년 행동 평가 척도(K-CBCL)\'와 인물화 검사를 사전 사후로 실시하였고 회기별 진행과정을 분석하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, K-CBCL검사에서 우울․불안척도가 T점수 82에서 T점수 59로, 위축행동 척도도 T점수 75에서 T점수 59로 현저히 감소되었다. 둘째, 인물화 검사에서 인물상의 크기 위치, 형태에서 차이를 볼 수 있었다. 셋째, 회기별 진행과정에서 미술놀이 치료가 진행될수록 감정표현과 의사표현의 부족이 개선되어 우울․불안 및 위축 행동이 감소되고 자신감이 향상된 것으로 나타났다.
The program of this study was conducted in the judgement of the need of psychological intervention in childhood cancer patients who underwent emotional difficulties by depression, anxiety, and withdrawal behavior. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of art therapy on depression, anxiety, and withdrawal behavior in childhood cancer patients. The subjects were childhood cancer patients of 6 years and 1 month who became inactive and experienced some difficulties in a kindergarten and at home by depression, anxiety, and withdrawal behavior. The program consisted of 16 sessions for 60 minutes a week. K-CBCL(Korea-Child Behavior Checklist) and draw-a-man-test were used for pre-test and post-test and session progress was analyzed. Finally, the results were as follows. First, in K-CBCL, the depression․anxiety scale and the withdrawal score were significantly decreased from T score of 82 to 59 and T score of 75 to 59 respectively. Second, in draw-a-man-test, there was difference in the size, location, and form of a man. Finally, as art therapy progressed in the session, the lack of emotional and verbal expression became improved, depression, anxiety, and withdrawal behavior became decreased, and confidence became increased.
