본 연구는 미국, 유럽, 한국의 미술치료학회 중 윤리강령이 정립되고 새로 개정된 AATA(American Art Therapy Association)와 FFAT(Fédération française des Art-thérapeutes), KATA(Korean Art Therapy Association)의 윤리강령에 관한 비교연구이다. 본 연구의 목적은 한국의 미술치료관련 학회와 협회의 설립일 및 윤리강령의 유무, 자격종류를 통한 현황을 살펴보고, 윤리강령이 정립된 한국미술치료학회와 2011년 비슷한 시기에 윤리강령을 개정한 AATA, FFAT, KATA의 윤리강령 항목구성들을 비교해 미술치료사의 의무와 내담자 에 대한 책임, 내담자 작품에 대한 측면으로 비교분석하였다. 이를 통해서 나온 결과로 AATA에서는 첫 번째로 내담자에 대한 책임에 대해 강조하였으며, FFAT와 KATA에서는 미술치료사의 의무가 첫 번째로 강조되었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 AATA와 FFAT에서는 내담자의 미술작품에 대한 윤리 강령 항목이 있었지만, KATA에서는 내담자의 미술작품에 대한 윤리 부분이 없음을 알 수 있었다. AATA, FFAT, KATA를 비교분석한 결과로 KATA에서 수정 및 보완해야 할 윤리강령을 8가지(1. 미술치료실 환경, 2. 내담자의 미술작품, 3. 비밀보장, 4. 비용 합의, 5. 미술치료사의 홍보, 6. 전자매체, 7. 윤리강령 위반, 8. 홈페이지 메뉴)로 논하였다. 마지막으로 한 국의 미술치료관련 학회와 협회가 나아가야 할 방향과 윤리강령의 중요성을 고지 하고자 한다.
In this study, the work ethics codes of Korean Art Therapy Association (KATA) were compared with those of American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and those of Fédération française des Art-thérapeutes (FFAT). These organizations revised their codes of work ethics at times with a short interval. The comparison was made examining the following aspects: art therapists' responsibility for their clients and clients' artwork. In addition, this paper looked at the information such as the foundation date of KATA, work ethics codes, and the kinds of license authorized by the association. The comparison showed that AATA emphasized art therapists' responsibility for their clients, and that FFAT and KATA emphasized art therapists' duties. While AATA and FFAT had a code regarding clients' artwork in their work ethics, KATA did not have one. Through the comparison of the work ethics of AATA, FFAT and KATA, this paper identified eight codes from the work ethics of KATA, which needed to be revised or complemented: 1. the art therapy studio setting, 2. clients' artwork, 3. confidentiality, 4. fee agreement, 5. the advertisement of art therapists, 6. electronic medium, 7. Breach of the work ethics codes, 8. homepage menus. Lastly, the future orientation of the KATA and importance of work ethics were presented.
