본 연구의 목적은 학교생활 부적응 수준에 따라 좋아하는 날씨(FKW) 그림 반응특성에 차이가 있는지 알아 보고 학교생활의 부적응 수준을 진단하는 도구로서 FKW의 활용 가능성을 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 인천에 소재한 남, 여 중학교 2학년 217명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 측정도구는 FKW와 학교생활 부적응에 관한 검사지 를 사용하였고. 독립표본 t-test와 교차분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 성별에 따른 학 교생활 부적응의 차이는 하위요인 중 교사관계 영역에서만 여자의 경우 부적응 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 성별에 따른 FKW의 반응 특성의 차이는 채색정도, 채색에너지, 채색안정성, 색 사용수, 공간사용, 세부묘 사, 바람, 움직임, 빨강, 분홍, 검정의 표현에서 차이가 나타났다. 셋째 학교생활 부적응에 따른 FKW의 반응 특 성의 차이는 채색정도, 채색안정성, 바람, 움직임, 빨강, 검정의 표현에서 차이가 나타났다. 넷째 학교생활 부적 응 세부영역에 따른 FKW의 반응특성 중 교사관계에서는 바람, 노랑, 초록, 갈색의 표현에서 차이가 나타났으 며, 학습활동에서는 채색정도, 채색안정성, 비, 움직임, 빨강, 회색의 표현에 있어서 차이가 있었고, 학교규칙준 수에서는 채색정도, 채색 안정성, 움직임, 빨강의 표현에 있어서 차이가 있었다. 이상의 결과로 FKW는 중학생 의 학교생활 부적응 수준을 진단하는 도구로 활용 가능성이 있음을 알 수 있다.
This research investigates the relationship between school performance and ‘Favorite Kind of Weather’ (FKW) Drawings to determine their applicability to diagnose students’ degree of school life maladjustment. For this reason, 217 male and female middle school students of Incheon were studied. The tests used were the FKW Drawings and a questionnaire regarding school life maladjustment; an independent sample t-test and crossover analysis was done. The results are as follows. Regarding school life maladjustment by gender, only teacher relations among female students showed significant differences. FKW Drawings according to gender differentiated in the degree of coloring, energy and stability; number of colors used; spatial usage; motion of the wind; and in the expression of the colors red, pink and black varied. Moreover, FKW Drawings according to degree of school life maladjustment showed differences in degrees of coloring and stability; wind motions; and in the expression of red and black. Lastly, regarding specific factors for maladjustment, teacher relations translated to different expressions of the wind, and colors yellow, green and brown; learning activity to degree of coloring and stability, rain, movement, and expression of red and grey; and school rule observance to degree of coloring and stability, movements, and expression of red. Based on these results, FKW Drawings can be employed to measure middle school students’degree of school life maladjustment.
