본 연구는 대학생의 풍경구성기법에 표현된 상징적 의미와 그 심리 특성을 통하여 그림검사도구로서 상징의 중요성을 탐색하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 서울 및 경기 지역의 2개교 대학생 477명(남 210명, 여 267명) 으로, 수집 된 자료의 분석은 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 x²검증을 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 대학생의 성별에 따른 풍경구성기법 10가지 요소의 상징적 의미는 강의 흐름, 산의 위치와 끝 모양, 밭의 계절과 일하는 사람의 유무, 다리의 유무, 사람의 행동특성, 동물과 돌의 크기에 있어 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 동물 그림에서 많이 그려진 것은 강아지, 소, 토끼, 고양이, 기린, 닭, 호랑이, 코끼리, 오리, 곰 순으로, 그 중 소, 토끼, 고양이, 기린, 코끼리, 오리에서 남녀의 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 추가 그림은 물고기, 해, 구름, 새, 자동차, 노을, 울타 리, 나비, 평상, 원두막 순으로 나타났는데, 물고기, 노을, 나비에서 두 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 이러 한 연구결과를 고려할 때, 풍경구성기법에 표현된 상징적 의미는 대학생 남녀의 심리 특성을 파악하는데 유용 하다는 것을 알 수 있다.
This study aimed to explore the importance of symbols in a drawing test tool while considering symbolic meaning and psychological characteristics in the LMT of university students. Participants included for this study were 477 students (males: 210, females: 267) in two different universities located in the city of Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea and statistical analysis was carried out using the χ²test with SPSS 22.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, analysis revealed the significant difference between two groups (females and males) in the following 10 items: the flow of the river, location of the mountain and shape of the peaks; the season of the field and existence of people working in the field; the existence of a bridge; behavioral characteristics of people; and sizes of animals and stones. Second, the animals drawn most frequently were (in order) the puppies, cows, rabbits, cats, giraffes, chickens, tigers, elephants, ducks and bear. The two groups showed the significant difference in drawing cows, rabbits, cats, giraffes, elephants and ducks. Third, additional items that were most frequently drawn included (in order) the fish, sun, clouds, birds, cars, sunsets, fences, butterflies, low wooden benches and lookout sheds. The two groups showed the significant difference in drawing fish, sunsets and butterflies. These findings will help in analyzing psychological characteristics of the two groups by understanding the symbolic meaning expressed in the LMT.
