본 연구에서는 문양만다라에 반영된 색채반응을 분석하여 색채별 패턴의 구조적 특성을 비교하고 각 패턴이 가족관계 만족도와 인과관계가 있는지를 알아보았다. 자료는 대구경북에 거주하는 베트남, 캄보디아, 일본, 중국 태생의 다문화여성을 대상으로 3곳의 다문화가족지원센터에서 각각 10명씩 3회에 걸쳐 90부를 수집하였다. 색 채반응패턴을 규명하기 위해 요인분석을 적용한 결과, 회색-살구, 검정-고동, 남색-초록, 분홍-연두, 분홍-파랑, 보라-흰색, 연두-흰색 등 7개의 패턴이 있으며 전체 분산의 73.8%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 회귀분석으로 인과관계를 검증한 결과, 회색-살구 패턴은 시어머니와 형제자매 간의 관계에 그리고 검정-고동 패턴은 시아버 지와의 관계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 남색-초록은 부모자녀, 시부모, 고향친구와의 관계에 그리고 분홍-파랑은 시어머니, 형제자매, 친구와의 관계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 흰색과 조합을 이루는 패턴 은 부정적인 영향을 미치는데 보라-흰색은 부부 및 친구와의 관계에, 연두-흰색은 부부, 시어머니, 형제자매, 일 반친구와의 관계에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 결론적으로 본 연구결과는 색채반응과 가족관계 만족도 간의 관계 에 대한 이론적 논거와 미술치료 기법에 대한 정보를 제공한다. 즉 임상 및 미술치료에서 색채반응을 토대로 가족관계를 예측할 수 있고 또한 이를 통해 원만한 가족관계를 위한 색채치료 방안을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to identify the color response patterns of multicultural women and to determine if there is causation between color response patterns and satisfaction in family relationships. The patterns of color response were identified by factor analysis and the result was a seven-factor solution. The seven patterns explained 73.8% of the total variance. The causation effect was identified by regression analysis and the results showed that the color response of a mandala was stressed throughout showing that a cause and effect relationship exist. A gray-apricot pattern was significantly associated with satisfactionary relationships with mothers-in-law and siblings, while a black-brown pattern was associated with satisfactionary relationships with fathers-in-law. An indigo-green pattern was related to satisfaction with parent-child, parent-in-law, and hometown friends relationships. A pink-blue pattern was related to satisfaction with mothers-in-law, siblings, and friends relationships. Any colors related with white tended to have a negative effect on satisfaction with relationships. A purple-white pattern negatively affected relationship with couples and friends, while a light green-white pattern affected relationships with couples, mothers-in-law, siblings, and Korean friends. The findings of this study have implications for the use of art therapy to improve the family relationships of multicultural women.
