본 연구의 목적은 미술치료에서 미술을 기반으로 한 슈퍼비전의 중요성과 실제 적용을 알아보는 것이다. 이 를 위해 국내 10편, 국외 7편의 미술치료 슈퍼비전 관련 단행본과 논문을 통해 미술을 기반으로 한 슈퍼비전의 중요성과 내용을 살펴보았고, 연구자가 집단슈퍼비전에서 실시한 슈퍼바이지의 미술작품 사례를 통해 미술을 기반으로 한 슈퍼비전의 실제 적용 방법을 고찰하였다. 본 연구 결과 미술을 기반으로 한 슈퍼비전은 슈퍼비전 안에서 미술치료사가 자신의 미술을 통해 치료라는 당면과제를 해결하도록 한다는 점에서 미술치료와 매우 유 사하므로 미술치료사의 정체성과 전문성 발달에 매우 중요하다. 미술을 기반으로 한 슈퍼비전의 내용은 주로 역전이 등 자기돌봄을 다루는 상담적 측면이 많고 교육, 평가적 측면은 적은 것으로 나타났다. ‘내담자 나무 그 리기’ ‘치료의 과정 그리기’와 같은 주제는 치료에 대한 상위인지적 지식습득과 교육 및 평가에 유용함을 알 수 있었다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the importance and practical application of art-based supervision in art therapy. Seventeen publications (ten Korean, seven international) were included, and information related to the importance and content of art-based supervision was analyzed. Through pieces of art made by supervisees in a group supervision setting, practical application methods of art-based supervision were reviewed. According to the result of this research, art-based supervision is very similar to art therapy in that art therapists solve the present tasks they face, in other words, therapy through their own art with supervision. Therefore, art-based supervision is very important for the development of the identity and professional development of art therapists. The contents of art-based supervision appear to have mainly consultative characteristics such as countertransference, and self-care, and fewer educational or evaluative aspects. Topics such as “client-wood painting” and “drawing the treatment process“ were found useful in metacognitive knowledge acquisition, training, and evaluation of the treatment.
