The Comparative Study of Normal Children’s Drawing and Cerebral Palsied Children’s Drawing

As children grow up physically and mentally, development of children’s drawing have unique form in each stage of age. Therefore we could discover the state of the children by studying and analizing the characteristics of children’s in each stage of age. Children’s drawing due to the tracing funcion of which, lend us great assistance to apprehend the mental inner sphere of children themselves. This study was intended to study and analysize the characteristics of cerebral palsied children’s drawing and to analogy the guide and data which might be used to lead the development of cerebral palsied children’s feeling by means of fine arts education. For this purpose sampling was done from two group- normal children, and cerebral palsied children. They are from two public elementary schools and one rehabilitation center in Seoul. Total sample size 300~250 normal children and 50 cerebral palsied children: sampling data (children’s Art) were classified 5 viewpoint as follows ① Motivation and artitude ② Visual factor(color, stroke, form) ③ Composition ④ Content ⑤ General character and imagination.
