This study investigated the applicability of a discipline-based art education(DBAE)Program. “Create your future Outfit” in the traditional art-educational program. The study included the content of “Create Your future Outfit” program itself. The purpose of the study was to determine whether K-12 teachers in korea perceive one of DBAE programs “Create Your Future Outfit” as useful and applicable in their actual teaching, and to examine the potential applicability of DBAE for K-12 art instruction The analysis of Findings of the survey provided K-12 reachers opinions on the special program, the Four components of DBAE, and the implication of DBAE in the tracittional art education. The four components of DBAE are studio art (art production), an history, art criticism and aesthetics. The recommendations for this program’s future application provided directions for development. (1) A DBAE approach can be applicable into other aheas, such as music Korean play, physical education, mathematics, science, etc, as one of open-educational teaching methods : (w)more DBAE approathed art educational programs should be developed for children to full their various needs and to be make creative in a post-modern society.
