Art has been acknowledged as an important part of education process in child art. The meaning of art education lies in the point of forming a desirable human being, not in a technical education which creates a piece of painting or enhances hand-skill. First the abundant emotion should be a foundation from infant years, developing children's ability to feel, to build, and to intuit art, and then We first have to make an environment for children freely expressing his ego and make them obtain spontaneity and originality, andthen we also should make them express their inner world, such as feeling, thought, and hope in a free way. This study demonstrates that there are a various method of expressions that we can meet in a visual place and that traditional and newly-developed methods have been enlarged. We ought to focus on elementary methods which have been dealt with by many people, and make children learn with a new image and interest in expression activities. I analyzed; theoretical backgrounds of child art in the chapter Ⅱ of this study and the history of developing child art, I orderly classified the study of V.Lowenfild, H.Read. and Kim Jung, according to the developing stage and I also analyzed the characteristics of child art build the creative expression ability and the basis of child art. I analyzed child paintings of moulding expression technique in chapter Ⅲ and the characteristics of child art expression as a painting course of substantial children Ⅰ studied the symbolic meaning and it, characteristic about colouring of child paintings I classified many reasons of troublesome children, and studied teaching methods about the children and I classified expression techniques.
