Disparities between the South and the North Korea have been aggravated in politics, economy, culture, and arts by long hostile situation and insufficient communication. Therefore, the object of this survey is to analyze the South & North arts and curriculum for developing desirable the fine arts textbook as an preparing of the unification era. At first, to analyze South-North elementary, middle arts and curriculum to compare ‘merrily life’ in the South Korea With ‘drawing’ and ‘the fine arts’ in the North Korea. Secondly, to analyze the homogeneity and heterogeneity in North-South textbooks and curriculum. Searching for solutions and coping with the problems caused by disparities. Thirdly, proposing the realistic and concreting directions for developing of arts textbook in the unification era on the basis of analysis. On conclusion, according to this survey, the suggestions for developing of textbook as it follows: 1. Disparities in the content and curriculum of the South-North arts education are remarkable. To deepen the survey, more materials about North Arts must be needed. 2. To carry out the wide and profound research, successive and research must be continued. 3. Terms in South-North arts are very different. Therefore, setting up and re-definition of arts terms must be accomplished. 4. The training of experts in the overall North Korea arts and governmental aid must be paced.
