In this thesis we recognized that the work which was pictured with the experience of children was more important than the simple expression of emotion' The aim of this research is to help the children to express a creative image individually through visual association models, We hoped that various experiences inherent in children could be represented as imaginative works and sufficient association guides could change the fixed idea. We considered the concept and importance of association, the relationship between association and originality and the association process of vision in theory and executed the association guide through th visual association model. Figure models by the R.Arnheim's Gestalt psychology were applied to the prior research and we selected the 9 samples of the association model on various fields, 117 boys and 117 girls who were twelve years old participated in the research. We analyzed and compared the order of the association material, the classification and comparison by the association material (which were natural object and artificial object, material in the surroundings and material in the imagination, living thing and lifeless thing, and abstraction and concreteness), the degree of association by the selected model and the primary process and the high degree process about the 9 visual association models. At the survey about the association, we analyzed the extent of the fear for expression and the difference of interest. The results of tills research are as follows. First, we found the experience world of the children by the visual association model. The world means the real things that the children experienced and managed in their life, and that are remembered as the impressive thing through the special scene or matter.
