The representative information-transmitting mode in contemporary society is 'Visual Language', various forms of information conveyed by visual images, Because of the expansion of visual information our modern society can be called as visual society. Owing to the development of information and communication technology, students nowadays have greater access to enormous visual information from TV or intemet than ever. Visual images from various forms of mass media become very generalized in our daily lives. By far, information education at school settings has been focused on computer and intemet. But considering information-transmitting code for the present and the future will be and is visual language, practically concrete ways to deal with the trend should be worked out in the field of education. Art education will play a key role, with visual literary education giving directions for them. According to visual literary education, visual media are defined not as teaching aids but as teaching aims - that is, the teaching of visual media themselves - which is very distinct from the previous audio visual education. Children and adolescents will enjoy a variety of visual media as sound culture and, furthermore obtain and use visual information very actively.
