The Search on Teaching Method of Craft of Clay for Early Childhood

The clay is good art material in terms of economical(less expensive), can be easily made into shape by children, also it is natural material. Early children can develop good merit in their character such as originality, recognition ability, sociality and speeching ability while their are working' with craft of clay, also it can help children refine their emotion. But unfortunately, this high valued activity(craft of clay) is not being put into practice in classroom. Due to lack of understanding of its value and misconception that craft of clay work might make children and smeared. Also activity, when teather try to teach craft of clay for children in real classroom, they have difficulty because shortage of handbook and research paper that can help understand children's recognition of able ability of three-dimensional and feature. There fore this study above is presented in order to revalue of craft of clay and help understand children's developing stage of three-dimensional in their clay work by studying theoretical contents related children's clay working activities. Also, hereby I have presented teaching model of craft of clay based on this study, which is being developing through experiencing of clay material, learning basic molding, making three-dimensional molding, observing and expressing, creation of three-dimensional space.
