A look at the paradigms of the past an education focused on dedication to humans with the subject focused on learners as the future society's members. However, since the actual an education on the field is faced with various realistic matters and is deviated from true education for learners, an teachers on the field feel shame at this situation. Children's rendering of an is tantamount to their inner expression in the process of growth, and is the process of their own's subjective symbolic division, thus distinguishing itself from adults' rendering of art. Art education can desirably practice its pursuit purpose for learners, only if it sees children as positive beings and reflect their peculiarity. Korea's art education undeniably assumes objective characteristic in its field activities, marking a difference from its pursuit purpose. To practice education requires reflective attitude as opposed to objectivism. This is similar to the context of the view of constructivism. Art education from the viewpoint of constructivism is persuasive in accepting the expression will of learners who are irregular and unpredictable. The research sought to see learner-children as a positive concept, address problems surrounding the perception of children and reflect subjectivity and individuality. Towards that end, first, the research studied the past view of children, addressed problems in teaching children in art education, and sought the future-oriented view of children in an education. Second, for the desirable practice of purpose pursued in art education, the research reviewed the meaning of learners from the view of constructivism in an education, and addressed the necessity for the significance of self-initiative in an activities and for critical activities.
