It is school education that the museum should pay attention and support actively to implement education program for the public. Because of a variety of restrictions, it is hard for the museum to provide an opportunity for whole students to experience museum. The 'Outreach Program' is an active execution of the function of the museum as an education institute because it is the 'Visiting program' and the effect is very high due to the ease of access. The 'Outreach Program' is regarded as an advanced management system, since the museum can not only uplift the cultural level of students but also fill museum's role of education for the public and expect the students to activate as patrons of the museum in future. Currently, the museum contributes toward cultural activities in connection with community cultures in various forms. People visit museum for various purpose as a tour course, an on-the-spot study and a recreation or to collect research data. Therefore,! museum should try to meet various needs of learning and cultural activities of people. One of the problems of education program of Korean museums as well as Sookmyung Women's University museum is the shortage of human resource and lack of interests. The biggest problem is that the programs offered by Korean museums are not specialized or focused but have just the characteristics of showcases. As mentioned above, that's because of the shortage of experts on the specialized education and it results in the museums' education programs that are much alike. Furthermore, the number of students who benefit from the education program is extremely limited because museums limit the number of students in a class to maximize the effect of the class. Though the 'Outreach Program' has difficulties in research, collecting data and making budget, it is the most efficient cultural scheme to extend educational basis under the current museums' situation.
