It is said that cultural properties which convey social and cultural meanings of each times are closely related to art and culture of the times. Thus, through cultural assets we can observe a stream of various social and cultural occurrences as well as our predecessors' way of thinking, emotion, and religion. In addition, enthusiastic activities with an eager for exploration of traditional cultural properties scattered here and there lead for infants to have an interest and a sense of affinity. It is believed that the integrated art project for infant education on Korean traditional cultural assets could help them increase their motivation for exploration of their culture, elevate their process of thinking of our history, develop their art expression and their whole personalities, and finally, be inspired with the spirit of patriotism and local patriotism. The purpose of the study was to provide the instructional model with an approach of project methods, which are believed as one of great help for the development of children. Especially this teaching model is focused on Korean traditional and cultural assets based on social constructivism. The study collected data in relation with the project activities such as making folk tales and animations, drawing and building with the theme of the Nang-San cultural assets. Afterwards, the children participating had discussions on what they could do to protect our cultural inheritances. All of these processes helped children further understand their local culture and history, and provided them with the opportunities to develop positive sense of self and creativity by allowing them to actively explore and play with cultural products.
