The era of developing country concerning about getting a livelihood has passed away, and the era of enjoying culture for the leisure time has come. As Korea joined OECD which is called ‘developed nation’s club’ in 1997, it enhanced national self-esteem for the economy and culture. There is wide acceptance of expenditure in the culture and art fields. Some colleges has opened applied study one after another, and we can easily meet such terms as ‘collection judgement’ and ‘art collection’ on the papers. The new generation can enjoy easily the information of collecting, because of the rapid development of on-line distribution system. But the curriculum of highschool education and adult and continuing education doesn’t deal with the purpose or meaning of collection, which makes potential collectors get the lack of chance to experience cultural valuables such as art collections. The curriculum of collecting according to his/her own purpose must run parallel with appreciation activities at school and continuing education program, even though it is very rudimentary stage. Going through these instruction steps, they could have discerning eyes, which would be a bridge linking to collecting motive. Only then, the productive structure, that is, the circulation through creation, distribution, appreciation, and reconstruction of art would be found. In this study, first we will look into the process of art collection market formation and its resulting problems. And then, for the solution, educational programs to generate potential collectors will be suggested. Subjects of instruction are selected as juvenile students, and art appreciation and collection education, that were performed separately at school before, will be deduced in the sight of view which recovers the general organism inhering in art education.
