Art is one of those classes most easily available to the disabled. Art is created and viewed for pleasure, distraction, the telling of stories, emoting, documentation purposes, service as an educational tool, the channeling of creative energies, and the processing of personal experience. Art educational also provides channels by which many exceptional children receive help in organizing their own environment and in drawing on meaningful motivation. Art and art education have important roles in both the diagnostic field and therapeutic field, since we are conducted not only with the child as a learner but also with his or her development as a person.
