소년원학교에서 인성교육을 위한 예술프로그램의 성격과 목표 구안에 관한 연구

The Study of the Character and Purpose of Art Program for Personality Education in Reformatory School

예술 교육의 목적은 크게 두 가지를 나타내고 있다. ‘예술을 통한 교육(Education through Art)’과 ‘예술을 위한 교육(Education for Art)’이 바로 그것들인데 예술을 통한 교육은 전인교육을 달성하기 위한 도구적?방법적 기능으로서 예술이 존재하며, 예술을 위한 교육은 예술 그 자체의 전문성을 습득하기 위한 목적적 기능으로서 예술이 존재한다(한국문화예술진흥원, 1987: 11). 예술 교육을 도구로 삼아 인성을 바람직하게 변화시키자는 관념은 과거 고대부터 가졌던 것이다. 예술 교육에는 크게 여러가지 목적이 있는데 그 중의 하나는 인성교육?도덕 교육이다(김혜숙?김혜련, 2007:73~77).

Reformatory school was changed into the school for custody, personality, subject, vocational education from the school for caring and custody as revising the law of reformatory school on December 31, 1988. The reformatory school is divided into schools for personality education, subject education, and vocational education again. Although reformatory school is divided into schools as each function, the center of reformatory school should be personality education. Even though it is true that personality education in reformatory school is criticized because they handle and plan personality education without deliberation and detailed review, they positively use art program as an important tool of personality education, but they also have the process without clear character and purpose. Analysis of arts programs for personality education in the field has been somewhat formally said that. Analyzed the nature and content of arts programs for personality education have chose. So, the study clarifies understanding personality education in training school, and what character and purpose art program should have for personality education. Through the study, I would like to help evaluate, select the method of teaching and learning, pick up the contents of forming art education program in the field.
