뇌성 마비 아동은 미성숙한 뇌의 병변이나 발달의 결함으로 인해 운동 및 자세의 장 애 로 비진행성 만성장애 를 갖게 된다(Bax, 1964). 그로 인하여 주의 집중, 기억 , 언어, 시·공간 관계 , 일시적 · 연속적 규칙, 운동 신경 기 능, 고등 인지 기능, 사회 인지 등 전반적으로 인지 기능에 결함을 나타낸다. 특히 학습과 밀접한 관련이 있는 주의 집중의 결함으로 인하여 주의가 산만하고 충동적이며 인내심이 부족한 경우가 보통이다. 또한 뇌성마비 아동의 다양한 근육체계의 조절기능과 지각기능의 저하는 주로 시각 및 청각의 상실로 인해 잘 확립되지 않는 것으로 알려져 있다(Gallahue, 1982: Rasmussen, 1983).
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of clinical art therapy program based on action feedback using wireless sensors on improving concentration and cognitive functions of children with cerebral palsy. The study was conducted for 8 months, targeting 15 cerebral palsy children who visit the A Children’s Development Center and C University Hospital located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam. A using wireless sensor the clinical art therapy program developed by the researchers was used as the study tool. For quantitative research, ‘Developmental Test of Visual Perception (K-TVPS-R)’, ‘Korea Institute for Special Education (KISE)’, ‘Attention Test of the Ministry of Education(1991: 4758)’, ‘Figure Color Copying(FCC)’ were done before and after the experiment. The SPSS 13.0 program was used to statistically compare outcomes before and after the experiment. The ‘Figure Color Copying(FCC)’ scale was applied to qualitatively analyze differences before and after in the experiment group. Individual characteristics were analyzed during the process. From results of these study, we were able to conclude that the clinical art therapy program based on action feedback using wireless sensors gave a positive influence on improving attention and cognitive functions of cerebral palsy children. The importance of this study is that the direction which the new development of clinical art therapy should head for was presented, and evidence of digital art therapy effects was prepared.
