노인의 자살예방을 위한 교류분석적 집단상담 프로그램의 효과성에 관한 연구

A Study on The Effect of The Transactional Analysis Group Program for Elderly Suicide Prevention

본 연구에서는 한국 사회가 직면하고 있는 노령화 문제 중 하나인 노인자살 예방에 대해 조사한 것으로, 노인의 죽음불안을 자살이 아닌 자연스러운 죽음으로 긍정적으로 수용할 수 있도록 도와주 기 위해 자살위험이 있는 노인의 무망감을 감소하는 자살예방 교류분석 상담프로그램(TA)을 개발하 여 실행하였다. 자료 수집은 성수동에 소재한 샬롬 재가노인복지 시설센터에서 참여의사가 있는 참 여자 10명과 통제집단 10명을 대상으로 2012년 5월에서부터 2012년 7월까지 두 달 동안 주 2회씩 총 15번 교류 분석적 집단상담을 1시간 30분 정도 실시하였다. 본 연구의 자료 분석은 기술적 통계분석 과 사전-사후 통제집단 설계를 SPSS for windows 17.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과를 요약하면 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 교류분석적 집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단에서 노인들의 죽음불안은 통제집단 에 비해 유의미 하게 감소되었다. 둘째, 교류 분석적 집단상담 프로그램이 노인의 무망감 감소에 효 과가 있었고, 노인 자살예방 교류 분석적 집단상담 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단은 통제집단과 비교 하여 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 결론적으로 자살을 예방 할 수 있는 교류 분석적 집단상담 프로그램 을 통해 자신과 타인을 이해하고 그 결과 노인들의 고립감과 외로움, 무망감에서 벗어나 자신감을 가지게 되면서 죽음에 대한 불안이 감소 된 것이라고 볼 수 있다.

This paper is about preventing suicide among the elders which is one of the problems of an aging society in Korea. I develop the Transaction Analysis(TA) group program which is to decrease hopelessness of the elders who have risk of suicide that the elders positively and naturally accept the death, not a anxiety of death. I collect the data 10 participants who would like to join and 10 participants of control group from Shalom Community Care Center located in Sungsoo-dong over a period of two months from May to July in 2012. I conduct TA group program for fifteen times and I interview them for an one hour and half every times. Also I analysis descriptive statistics and pretest-posttest control design using SPSS 17.0. The results of this study are; First, an anxiety of death of the elders significantly decrease in the experimental group who participate in TA group program. Second, TA group program has an effect on decreasing hopelessness of the elders and the experimental group is statistically significant compare to the control group. In conclusion, the elders understand themselves and other people through TA group program to prevent suicide. As a result of that, the elders can have confidence and overcome loneliness, hopelessness, and sense of isolation, so I can tell an anxiety of the death decrease.
