유아의 또래유능성이 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향: 정서조절능력 및 갈등해결능력의 매개효과 검증

The Influence of Peer Competence in Child Care Center Adjustment: Testing Mediation Model of Emotional Regulation Ability and Conflict Resolution Ability

본 연구는 유아의 어린이집 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위 해 또래유능성이 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향력과 이 과정에서 정서조절능력 및 갈등해결능력의 매 개효과를 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구의 대상은 어린이집에 다니는 만 4, 5세 유아 249명이고, 이들 유 아를 담당하고 있는 교사에게 유아의 또래유능성, 어린이집 적응, 정서조절능력 설문 및 갈등해결능 력 면접을 실시하도록 하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 유아의 사교성, 친사회성, 주도성, 정서조절능력, 갈등해 결능력은 어린이집 적응과 유의한 양의상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 주도성이 어린이 집 적응을 설명하기에 가장 영향력이 큰 변인이었고, 다음으로 친사회성 순이며, 이들 변인의 설명력 은 82.9%이었다. 셋째, 또래유능성과 어린이집 적응과의 관계에서 정서조절능력의 매개효과가 나타 났다. 넷째, 또래유능성과 어린이집 적응과의 관계에서 갈등해결능력의 매개효과가 나타났다.

The purpose of this research was to take a look at the factors that influence child care center adjustment. For this, it was intended to verify the influence of the peer competence on the child care center adjustment, and it was intended to verity the mediated effect of the emotional regulation ability and conflict resolution ability. The subjects were 249 children at 6 child care centers located in the Jeonlabukdo area. The results of this study were as follows: First, young children's sociability, prosociality, leadership, emotional regulation ability, and conflict resolution ability were significantly correlated with child care center adjustment. Second, prosociality and leadership were variables influencing child care center adjustment. Third, emotional regulation ability mediated between peer competence and child care center adjustment. Lastly, conflict resolution ability mediated between peer competence and child care center adjustment.
