사이버대학생들의 치매에 대한 지식과 태도, 영향요인에 관한 연구

A Study of Knowledge and Attitude, Influenced Factors on Dementia in Cyber University Students

우리나라에서 치매는 그 심각성에 비해 사람들의 인식이 부족한 질병이다. 이에 본 연구는 치매에 관한 지식이 태도에 미치는 영향과 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따라 지식과 태도가 어떻게 달라지는지 를 분석하여 인식개선의 중요성을 다시 환기하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 경기도 소재 4년제 사이버대 학교 1개교에 재학 중인 학생 502명을 대상으로 설문자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 대상자들의 치매에 대한 인식은 평균 10.22점으로 다소 높은 수준이었다. 대상자의 치매 에 대한 태도는 평균 41.36점으로 매우 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 대상자의 일반적인 특성에 따라 치 매에 관한 지식 정도를 분석한 결과 연령이 높을수록 치매에 대한 지식을 더 많이 갖고 있음이 분석 됐다. 이와 함께 혼인상태, 경제상태, 종교, 부모부양 여부별로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 치매에 대한 태도를 일반적 특성에 따라 분석한 결과 지식과 마찬가지로 연령이 높을수록 태도가 긍정적이었다. 결혼여부에서는 기혼자가 미혼자보다 태도가 긍정적이었다. 상관관계 분석에서는 치매 지식과 태도 가 다소 미약하지만 서로 양적 상관이 있으므로 지식이 태도에 미치는 영향이 입증되었다. 그러므로 일반인들이 치매에 대한 지식이 많을수록 치매에 대한 태도가 긍정적인 것으로 나타나 치매예방과 관리가 효과적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 올바른 치매교육과 홍보활동이 무엇보다 중요함을 확인할 수 있었다.

In Korea, by comparison with seriousness and prevalence ratio, dementia is easy to lose diagnosis and treatment period. This study has reviewed that the impact of attitude in the knowledge on dementia, also how the knowledge and attitude have become change according to persons having general characteristics. The results of the research were based on a survey of the cyber university 502 students in Gyeonggi-do. As a result, subjected persons recognizing dementia notion obtain an average score of 10.22 that is somewhat higher level. That persons having attitude of dementia acquire an average score of 41.36 that means very positive attitude. Based on analyzing knowledge level about dementia according to general characteristics of persons, it has no consequence in gender, however the older that persons grow, the higher knowledge score and understanding of dementia are risen. In addition, there are also meaningful differences in accordance with marital status, economical conditions, religion, and supporting parents. In accordance with an outcome to attitude about dementia based on general characteristics, like knowledge, the older persons grow, the more positive attitude is shown. In marital status, the married have a more positive mind than the unmarried. Confucianism is the most highest in the religion part, because traditional Confucianism is applied to their background. At correlation analysis, the effects of knowledge influence the attitude about dementia, nevertheless, there is very little positive relationship between them. Therefore, the more general people know, the more positive attitude on dementia is risen, proper education and publicity activities are important above all as effective prevention and control.
