부모애착이 아동의 행복에 미치는 영향: 또래관계의 매개효과를 중심으로

The Influence of Parent Attachment on Happiness of Children: Focusing on Mediation Effects of Peer Relationship

본 연구는 부모애착 및 또래관계와 행복의 관계를 살펴보고, 부모애착이 또래관계를 매개하여 행 복에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 대구광역시 달서구 지역의 초등학생 272명을 대상으로 부모애착, 또래관계, 행복에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 다중회귀분석을 통해 통계처리 하였으며, 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모애착과 또래관계는 행복에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모애착과 행복의 관계에서 또래관계는 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 아동의 행복을 위해서는 최우선적으로 또래관계에 대한 고려가 필요한 것을 시사한 다. 즉 긍정적 또래관계를 형성할수록 아동의 행복이 향상되기 때문에, 아동의 행복을 향상하기 위하 여 긍정적인 또래관계를 형성하기 위한 절대적 시간의 증가와 기회의 제공, 또래관계 형성과 같은 프로그램의 적용이 필요함을 시사한다. 더불어 부모애착은 아동의 행복뿐만 아니라 또래관계에도 영 향을 미치는 것으로 나타났기 때문에, 아동의 행복 향상을 위해 부모애착을 형성하기 위한 다양한 방안탐색이 필요하다.

The purpose of this research is to identify relationship among parent attachment and peer relationship and happiness of children. Afterwards, it looks into how peer relationship mediates parent attachment and influences happiness of children. For this research a survey on parent attachment, peer relationship, and happiness was done with total 272 elementary students living in D district of Daegu city. The collected data was statically processed by using SPSS WIN 20.0 program by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and multi regression analysis. The result of this research as follows. First, children’s happiness appears to be affected by peer relationship and parent attachment. Second, in relationship between happiness of children and parent attachment, appeared to be partially mediating. This research conclusion implies that peer relationship should be considered first in terms of happiness of children. That is, children can be happy when they have positive peer relationship. As this is the case, to promote their happiness increase of absolute time and opportunities for forming positive peer relationship and support programs such as making peer relationship are required. Furthermore, it was found out that parent attachment affects not only happiness of children but also peer relationship, thus, various methods to form parent attachment for their happiness are needed.
