예술대학 발전의 구상에서 메타교육의 중요성

The Importance of Meta-Education in the development of Arts Universities

자율적인 교육발전의 동력 없이 예술대학들은 미래로 나가기 어렵다. 본 연구는 예술대학 들의 발전 계획에서 정부 지원에의 종속성, 대학과 교육의 범주착오 현상, 그리고 기능주의적 교육관이라는 특징을 발견하였다. 이 특징들은 예술대학 교육의 발전을 저해하는 것은 물론, 가치전도를 초래하는 문제가 있기에, 그 해결을 위해 메타교육을 주목하였다. 메타교육은 교 육의 원리를 교육에 적용하여 주체의 교육 역량을 높이고 교육도 발전시킨다는 자율적인 메 커니즘이다. 메타교육은 예술대학 구성원들의 교육 품위를 높이고, 예술대학 발전의 구상에서 교육본위화의 가능성을 열어줄 수 있다. 대학은 다양한 기능을 하는 삶의 공간의 하나이고, 교육은 그 삶의 공간에서 진행되는 하나의 삶의 양상이다. 예술대학의 존재 가치를 무엇보다 교육에서 찾고자 한다면, 예술대학의 발전은 교육을 전경의 위치에 놓고 여타 세계들을 교육 의 환경으로 배치하여 상호 협력하게 하는 방식으로 모색되어져야 한다.

Art universities that rely solely on outside support without the power to develop autonomous education are hard to come to the future. This study shows that the development plans of art colleges have features such as the dependency on government support, the aberration phenomenon of college and education, and functional perspective, which not only hamper the development of arts college education but also arouse the issue of value evangelism. Meta-education was focused on solving this problem. Meta-education is an autonomous mechanism that applies the principle of education to education to increase the educational capacity of the subject and to develop education. Meta education can enhance the educational transtalent of the members of art colleges and open up the possibility of prioritizing educational value in the idea of the development of art college. College is one of the life spaces having various functions, and education is a form of life that goes on in the space of life. If we hope to find the existential value of art college more than anything else in education, the development of art college should be searched in the way of placing education in foreground and arranging other world supporting it to educational environment and mutual cooperation.
