경주지역 초기수혈식석곽묘의 검토

A Study on the Early Stone-lined tombs in Gyeongju Area

이 글에서는 경주지역을 중심으로 초기수혈식석곽묘의 축조집단유형, 신라토기의 부장시기, 구조적 특징, 발생 등에 대하여 낙동강하류역인 부산ㆍ김해지역의 초기수혈식석곽묘와 비교ㆍ검토를 통해 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 두 지역 모두 초기수혈식석곽묘는 지배층집단보다 하위계층의 집단에서 먼저 채용되며, 이와는 반대로 신라토기의 부장은 지배층집단에서 먼저 부장되는 것으로 파악된다. 또한 경주지역 초기수혈식석곽묘 중 가장 이른 시기로 파악되는 하삼정고분군의 석곽묘 9호는 낙동강하류역인 부산ㆍ김해지역과 마찬가지로 전대 목곽묘의 전통이 강하게 작용하지만 두 지역을 비교ㆍ검토한 결과, 평면형태, 규모 등에서 약간의 상이점이 관잘된다. 따라서 경주지역의 초기수혈식석곽묘는 낙동강하류역에서 전파되어진 것보다는 내세사상의 관념이 증가하여 묘제에 반영되어진 결과로서, 붕괴가 쉬운 목재보다는 견고한 석재로의 인식전환과 자체적인 기술적 발전에 의해서 발생된 것으로 생각된다

It is this theory that examines and compares the early stone-lined tombs at Busan and Kimhae area in the downstream of Nakdong river about a type of group builing these, an age buring the Shilla s earthenwares, a structural characteristic and origination etc., focusing Gyeongju Area. In conclusion the early stone-lined tombs were accepted more formerly of the low ranking group than the ruling class but the buring the Shilla s earthwares were opposed to that. The earliest NO.9 stone-lined tomb in the Hoasamjeon in Gyeongju area has a tradition of the former wooden￢chamber tomb similarly at Busan and Kimhae area in the downstream of Nakdong river. But after comparing the structural attribute of two regions, it is different in the plane form. Therefore I think that the early stone-lined tombs in Gyeongju area were reflected in the life after death better than these were transmitted from the downstream of Nakdong river and these were originated locally and inside from the technical development and the recognition that the hard stone material was more useful than the weak timber.
