성찰일지에 나타난 교사 정체성 형성에 따른 인식

A Study on a Awareness Analysis consequent on Teacher Identity of Formation shown in Self-Reflection Journal : Targeting first-year students majoring in Special Education

연구자는 K도 K시에 위치한 D대학교 중등특수교육과 1학년 학생들의 성찰일지를 분석하면서 교사가 갖추어야 할 정체성에 대한 인식을 살펴보았다. 연구자가 진행한 특수교육 역사와 철학 과목의 일환으로 본 연구가 진행되었다. 연구회기는 총 12회기였고 연구 참여 대상자는 D대학교 중등특수교육과 1학년 학생 15명이었다. 연구회기마다 다양한 프로그램을 실시하였는데 주로 전공 학습, 특수교육현장인 특수학교와 특수학급에 봉사활동 참여, 특수학교방문 및 특수교육전문가인 현직 특수교사와의 만남과 이야기 나누기, 장애관련 동영상 감상과 토론 등으로 이루어졌다. 연구방법은 매 회기마다 작성한 성찰일지를 분석하는 질적연구로 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같이 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 성찰일지에서 특수교육현장의 필요성 지각을 나타내었다. 둘째, 성찰일지에서 특수아동에 대한 부정적 인식에서 긍정적 인식으로의 변화를 찾을 수 있었다. 셋째, 성찰일지에서 특수교사에 대한 인식의 변화가 나타났다. 특수교사가 갖추어야 할 자질과 특수교사의 역할에 대한 다양한 의견을 제시하였다. 이상의 결론을 후속연구를 위한 제언을 실시하였다.

This researcher looked into the awareness of identity, with a teach should be equipped while analyzing self-reflection journals prepared by first-year students of the Dept. of Secondary Education at D University located in K city, K province. This study was carried out as a part of special education history, and a philosophy subject which were conducted by this researcher. The number of the research session was 12, and research participation subjects were comprised of 15 first-year students of the Dept. of Secondary Education at D University. This researcher implemented a variety of programs every research session, mostly consisting of major subject learning, participation in volunteer work for a special education school, an encounter with a special education teacher on the active list as a special education expert, story sharing, and disability-related video appreciation, and discussions, etc. As a research method, this researcher adopted a qualitative research for the analysis of self-reflection journals prepared by students every session. The conclusion through this study can be presented as follows: First, students showed perception of the necessity of a special education field through their self-reflection journals. Second, this researcher could discover a change from negative awareness of special children to positive awareness in their self-reflection journals. Third, there was a paradigm shift of a special education teacher in their self-reflection journals. In addiction, students presented a diversity of opinions as to the qualification, with which a special education teacher should be equipped, and a special education teacher’s role. On the basis of the conclusion as above, this researcher implemented a proposal for a follow-up research.
