Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the stress coping strategies of nursing students and to examine the influence of these factors in their level of college adjustment. Methods: The subjects were 157 nursing students who are located in Chonnam city. Statistical analysis of independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearsonʼs correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis was performed through the SPSS/WIN 24.0. Result: The mean score of stress coping strategies, adjustment to college life was 59.34±6.67 58.57±12.77 respectively. Adjustment to college life is positively correlated with stress coping strategies(r=.204 p=.002). Conclusions: I hope that the development and application of the education program considering the characteristics of the nursing college students will be carried out so as to improve the adaptability of college life by managing the stress experienced during college life.
