The results of this study were as follows : first, self-differentiation was most defined by unfair and physical experieinces in parentification, follwed by an active style of emotional regulation. Second, psychological well-being was mostly accounted for by an active regulation style of emotional regulation, followed by an unfairness and emotional parentification experience. Third, an avoidant/distractive style of regulation style had a partial mediating effect in the relation between emotional parentification and self-differentiation. Finally, active, and support-seeking, style of reegulation completely mediated the relation between emotional parentification and psychological well-being.
