초등학교 체육과 교육과정 중 ‘표현’영역의 변천과 개선 방향 탐색

Study of Change and Improvement of ‘Expression Area Curriculum in Elementary School Physical Education Textbook

본 연구는 제1차 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정까지 초등학교 체육교과서‘표현’ 영역의 교육과정 변천을 알아보고, 개선 방향을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌을 통한 내용 분석 연구 방법과 균형 비교 연구 방법을 사용하여 초등학교 체육교과서 ‘표현’ 영역 교육과정의 배경 및 특징, 목표, 내용 등을 탐색하여 ‘표현’ 영역의 고유한 가치를 확장할 수 있는 계기를 마련하고자 한다. 체육교과서 ‘표현’ 영역의 교육과정을 살펴본 결과, 크게 네 가지 변화가 나타났다. 첫째, 명칭이 변경되었다. 둘째, 목표 제시가 확대되었다. 셋째, 내용 체제에 변화가 있었다. 넷째, 감상 비중이 축소되었다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 교육과정의 개선 방향으로 초등학교 체육교과서 ‘표현’ 영역 명칭의 재설정, 목표의 구체화, 내용의 재구조화, 감상 비중의 확대를 제시한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate change and improvement of ‘expression area curriculum in elementary school physical education textbook from the 1st to the 2015 curriculum. This study was designed by exploring background, characteristic, goal, and content of elementary school physical education curriculum using method of analysis of content and balanced comparative study. Therefore, a study on the curriculum in expression area of physical education textbook revealed four major changes. First, the name has changed. Second, the presentation of goal has been expanded. Third, there are changes in content system. Fourth, the percentage of appreciation has been reduced. Through this research, this research suggests reset names, refinement of goals, re-organization of contents, and increase proportion of appreciation in ’expression‘ area of elementary school physical education textbook toward the curriculum.
