노자와 화이트헤드는 상대론자인가

Laotse and Whitehead, are they relativist?

이번 논문에서 논자는 노자와 화이트헤드가 상대론자임을 보다 정확하게 알기위해서 상대와 절대의 개념을 일반적, 사전적, 전문적 의미로 분석했다. 이때의 전문적 의미는 철학적 의미로 상대성과 절대성을 말한다. 이 철학적 의미인 상대성과 절대성을 존재론적, 인식론적, 가치론적 의미로 분석하였다. 상대성의 개념은 두 개의 대등한 존재자가 상호영향을 미치는 관계가 필요하다는 것이고, 절대성 개념은 두 개 중 한 쪽이 완전하거나 완전에 가까울 정도라서 상대자와의 상호영향을 미치는 관계가 필요없다는 것이다. 이때의 완전하거나 완전에 가까워서 대등한 상대자를 필요로 하지 않는 자를 절대자라고 한다. 노자에게 두상대자는 무와 유이며, 화이트헤드에게 두 상대자는 신과 세계이다. 노자에게 무와 유는 상호 대등하면서 영향을 주고받는 상대자이다. 화이트헤드에게 신과 세계도 상호 대등하면서 영향을 주고받는 상대자이다. 그러므로 노자와 화이트헤드는 둘 다 상대론자이다. 왜냐하면 둘 다 절대자를 인정하지 않고, 우주의 근원을 상대자로 보기 때문이다.

In this paper, the writer analyzed the concept of relation and absolute in general, dictionary, and technical meaning to find out more accurately that Laotse and whithead are relativists. The technical meaning of this time refers to relativity and absoluteness of philosophical meaning. Relativity and absoluteness meaning of this philosophical meaning were analyzed in the sense of ontological, epistemological and axiological. The concept of relativity is that a relationship mutually effected on between two equal beings is necessary. The concept of absoluteness is that a relationship mutually effected on between two beings is not necessary. Because one of them is complete or proximity to perfection, it be not affected by the other one. Those who do not need an equal opponent because of their perfection or proximity to perfection at this time are called the absolute. To Laotse, the two partners are Nothing and Being ; to Whitehead, the two are God and the World. To Laotse, Nothing and Being are counterparts who are equal and affect on each other. To Whitehead, God and World are counterparts who are equal and affect on each other. Laotse and Whitehead are therefore both relationists. This is because both do not accept the absolute person and see the origin of the universe as a counterpart.
