청소년의 스트레스가 자살의도에 미치는 영향에서 문제성음주의 매개효과 및 사회지지의 조절효과

The Effect of Adolescent Stress on Suicide Behavior Mediating Effect of Problem Drinking and Moderating Effect of Social Support

본 연구는 청소년의 스트레스가 자살의도에 미치는 영향에서 문제성음주의 매개효과 및 사회지지의 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 설계되었다. 분석은 2016년 청소년건강형태온라인조사에 참여한 798개 학교에 재학 중인 중․고등학생 9.429명을 최종분석 대상으로 삼았다. 가설검증은 성별, 학년, 성적, 경제수준을 통제한 상태에서 경로분석과 다집단분석을 통해 이루어졌으며, 모수추정은 최대우도법으로 이루어졌다. 주요 결과로는 첫째, 청소년의 스트레스는 문제성음주와 자살의도에 정의 영향을 미쳤으며, 문제성음주 또한 자살의도에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 문제성음주는 청소년의 스트레스와 자살의도를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회지지는 청소년의 스트레스가 문제성음주에 미치는 경로에서만 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 사회지지가 있는 집단은 없는 집단에 비해 스트레스가 문제성음주에 미치는 영향력이 유의하게 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과에 대한 논의를 통해 청소년의 자살의도에 대한 개입에서 스트레스와 문제성음주의 중요성을 제언하였다.

This study was designed to investigate the mediating effect of problematic drinking and the moderating effect of social support in the impact of adolescent stress on suicidal ideation. The final analysis was performed on 9,429 students attending 798 middle or high schools who participated in the Korea Youth Heath Behavior Online Survey in 2016. Hypothesis testing was conducted through the path analysis and multiple group analysis with gender, grade, performance and economic level as controlled variables, and parameter estimation made by the maximum likelihood method. Main results are as follows. First, adolescent stress had a positive impact on problematic drinking and suicidal ideation while problematic drinking had a positive impact on suicidal ideation. Second, problematic drinking had a partial mediating effect on stress and suicidal ideation of adolescents. Third, social support had a moderating effect only on the path of adolescent stress to problematic drinking. In other words, it was found that the group with social support had a significantly lower impact of stress on problematic drinking than the group without social support. In the discussion of these results, the importance of stress and problematic drinking in the intervention of adolescents suicidal ideation was proposed.
