지속가능발전교육으로의 공존지향적 유아교육에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식

A Study on Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers Understanding of the Coexistence-oriented Education for sustainable development

본 연구의 목적은 유아교육과 재학생 354명을 대상으로 하여 지속가능발전교육으로의 공존지향적 유아교육에 대한 교육목표, 교육내용, 지도방법 및 지도내용 관련 인식을 분석하는 데 있다. 분석된 결과에 따르면 첫째, 예비유아교사는 지속가능발전교육으로의 공존지향적 유아교육의 교육목표 5개 세부 항목 중 「자신에 대한 이해와 존중감을 높인다」에 대한 중요성을 가장 높게 인식하고 있었고,「세계평화, 통일, 다문화에 대한 관심을 가지고 다양한 사회문화적 가치를 이해한다」에 대한 중요성을 가장 낮게 인식하는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사는 지속가능발전교육으로의 공존지향적 유아교육의 교육내용 24개 세부 항목 중 「배려」,「기초예절」,「질서」,「책임감」에 대한 중요성을 높게 인식하는 반면, 「생산성」,「시장과 가격」에 대한 중요성을 가장 낮게 인식하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 예비유아교사는 지속가능발전교육으로의 공존지향적 유아교육을 위한 지도방법 12개 세부 항목에 대한 인식 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 예비유아교사는 지속가능발전 교육으로의 공존지향적 유아교육을 위한 지원내용 4개 세부항목 중 「교사를 위한 지도서 및 활동자료집」에 대한 중요성을 가장 높게 인식하고 있는 반면, 「대학교육과정에 공존교육 관련 과목 개설」에 대한 중요성은 가장 낮게 인식하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 지속가능발전교육으로의 공존지향적 유아교육의 확산적 실천을 위해 예비유아교사를 대상으로 사회문화적 가치, 환경적 가치, 경제적 가치의 내용인식을 개선할 수 있는 교육과 다양한 지도방법의 활용 등 교육적 지원체계가 필요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the awareness of educational goals, contents of education, guidance method and guidance contents of coexistence oriented early childhood education in sustainable development education for 354 students in early childhood education. According to the analyzed results, first, pre-service early childhood teachers recognized the importance of to raise their understanding and esteem of oneself among the five items of educational goals. But they have the lowest perception of understanding various socio-cultural values with an interest in world peace, unification, and multiculturalism among the five items of educational goals. Second, pre - service early childhood teachers recognized the importance of care , basic mammers , order , and responsibility among the 24 items of education content. But they have the lowest perception of productivity , market and price among the 24 items of education. Third, regarding teaching methods, there is no difference in the perception of 12 instructional methods for pre-service teachers. Fourth, the pre-service early childhood teachers recognized the importance of the Guidebooks and Activity Books for Teachers among the four details of the contents of coexistence oriented early childhood education. But they have the lowest preception of Opening coexistence courses in college courses . This study suggests. In order to spread coexistence - oriented early childhood education in sustainable development education, It is necessary to educate the pre - service early childhood teachers to recognize the contents of socio - cultural, environmental, and economic values and to utilize various teaching methods.
