대학 교양교육과정으로서의『멘토와 멘토링』교과목 개발 및 운영 사례 연구

본 연구는 대학 교양교육과정으로서 「멘토와 멘토링」교과목을 개발 및 운영한 사례로, 변화하는 사회상에 부합하고 대학교육의 질적 개선을 위한 이론적 근거를 마련하는 데 일차적인 목적을 두었다. 또한, 멘토로서 대학의 멘토링 프로그램에 활동할 수 있는 자격 인증 프로그램 개발에 이차적인 목적을 두었다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 선행연구를 분석하여 잠정적인 교과목 실라버스를 구성하여, 2017학년도 2학기와 2018학년도 1학기를 운영하였다. 1학기 시범 운영한 후 교과목 명을『멘토링교수법』에서 『멘토와 멘토링』으로 수정하였으며, 실라버스에 사례조사 실습 등을 추가하여 이론 수업을 이론과 실기 병행수업으로 변경하였다. 최종적으로 멘토링 이해, 멘토링 역할, 멘토링 실제 등 3부분으로 구성하였고, 각각의 하위 내용을 구성하였다. 강의계획, 내용 및 방법, 다양한 평가방법 등에 있어서 학생들의 강의 만족도가 전반적으로 높았으며, 대부분의 학생들은 수업에 있어서 자신에 대한 학습참여도와 멘토 역량도 향상되었음을 인식하였다.본 연구의 결과는 멘토링 프로그램을 개발하는 데 핵심이 되는 프로그램 내용 모형을 구안하여 이론적 근거를 제안해 주었으며, 또한 멘토링에 대한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to develop and manage “mentor and mentoring” as a liberal arts curriculum in university, and provide the theoretical basis for the improvement of quality of university education in accordance with the changing society. In addition, this study is set for a secondary goal in developing a qualification program that can be used for the mentoring programs in university. In order to accomplish this goal, I analyzed the previous research and constructed a temporary syllabus to run the second semester of 2017 and the first semester of the 2018 school year. After the first semester, the course title was changed from “mentoring teaching method” into “mentor and mentoring,” and theoretical classes were changed into theoretical and practical parallel classes by adding case research practices to the syllabus. inally, it consists of three parts: mentoring understanding, mentoring role, and mentoring practice. Each three sub-content was constructed. The students lecture satisfaction was generally high in the lecture syllabus, content and method, and various evaluation methods. The most students recognized that their participations level in learning and mentor competencies had been improved. The results for this study were to be significant in terms of proposing the program contents model which is the key to develop the mentoring program and also providing basic data for mentoring.
