청소년의 불안정 애착과 스마트폰 중독과의 관계에서 초기부적응도식의 역할

The Role of Early Maladaptive Schemas Between Adolescents’ Insecure Attachment and Smartphone Addiction

본 연구에서는 청소년의 불안정 애착이 스마트폰 중독에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지와 불안정 애착이 스마트폰 중독을 유발하는데 초기부적응도식이 매개역할을 하는지 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 경남지역 중학생 675명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 공변량 구조모형을 통하여 변인들 간의 관계를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 불안애착이 스마트폰 중독에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 통제부족도식이 스마트폰 중독에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 통제부족 도식이 불안애착과 스마트폰 중독간의 관계에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결국 청소년의 스마트폰 중독의 핵심원인은 불안애착이며, 불안애착이 통제부족 도식을 통하여 간접적으로 이들의 스마트폰 중독을 높이는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이 연구결과들은 청소년들의 스마트폰 중독 문제를 예방하고 효과적으로 개입하기 위한 상담적 전략을 모색하는 데 유용한 시사점을 제공할 것이다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 시사점을 논의하였다.

This study examined the influence of insecure attachment on adolescents’ samartphone addiction. This study also examined early maladaptive schemas may mediate the relationship between insecure attachment and samartphone addiction. To this end, a survey was conducted with 675 middle school students in Gyeongnam province. To identify the relation of these variables, the data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The main findings of this are as follows: First, the anxious attachment of the adolescents had a positive influence on their smartphone addiction. Second, the insufficient self-control schemas of the adolescents had a positive influence on their smartphone addiction. Third, the insufficient self-control schemas had played a mediating role between the anxious attachment of the adolescents and their smartphone addiction. In sum, the anxious attachment of the adolescents was a significant predictor of their smartphone addiction, and indirectly affected their smartphone addiction through the insufficient self-control schemas. This results provide important implications for treatment and prevention strategies in counseling of smartphone addiction problems in adolescents. Finally, implications and limitations of this study are discussed.
