비만 여부에 따른 중년 여성의 건강관련 삶의 질 영향요인 비교

A Comparison of Factors Influencing Health-related Quality of Life by Obesity among Middle-aged Women

본 연구는 비만 여부에 따른 중년 여성의 건강관련 삶의 질 영향요인을 비교하기 위하여 시도되었다. 제 6기(2014) 국민건강영양조사에 참여한 건강설문 대상자 중 40-60세 중년 여성 1,255명의 자료를 최종 분석대상으로 사용하였다. 건강관련 삶의 질(HRQOL)은 EQ-5D (EuroQol-5 Dimensions)의 한국어버전을 사용하여 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 23.0 Program을 이용하여 서술통계, Chi-square test, t-test 및 선형회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 비만 여부에 따라 연령, 수입, 교육 수준 및 일주일 동안 걷기 일 수에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 비만 중년 여성의 건강관련 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인은 활동제한, 연령 및 우울 증상 경험이었으며, 정상 체중인 중년 여성에서는 활동제한, 연령, 우울 증상 경험, 스트레스 인지 및 지난 2주간 불편감 경험으로 나타났다. 따라서 중년 여성의 건강 관련 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해서는 이러한 변수들에 대한 고려가 필요하며, 특히 비만 여부에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였던 스트레스와 신체적 불편감과 같은 변수들에 대한 차별화된 전략이 필요할 것이다.

This purpose of this study was to compare factors influencing health-related quality of life (HRQOL) by obesity among middle-aged women. A nationally representative sample of 1,255 middle-aged women (40-60) from the 6th (2014) Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey was analyzed. HRQOL was measured using the Korean version of the EQ-5D (EuroQol-5 Dimensions). The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, t-test, and linear regression with SPSS version 23.0 program. As a result, there were statistically significant differences in age, income, education level, and walking days for a week according to obesity. Activities limitation, age, and experience of depression symptoms were significantly associated with HRQOL among obese middle-aged women. Activities limitation, age, experience of depression symptoms, stress cognition, and discomfort experience for nearly 2 weeks were significantly associated with HRQOL among normal weight middle-aged women. Therefore, these variables should be included in nursing interventions to improve HRQOL of middle-aged women, and differentiated interventions for variables such as stress and physical discomfort, which were significantly different depending on obesity, will be needed.
