In the recent years, constructivism, which emphasizes a learner-centered approach, has been said to be the representative learning theory that represents the characteristics and values of museum education. The practical feasibility and importance of constructivist museum education has firmly been established through many relevant domestic and international studies and cases. Museum educators working in Korean museums have widely shared the awareness of constructivist museum education programs.
