This study evaluated the solubilization of the sludge by co-ozonation with ultrasonication and compared the methane production through a BMP test. The BMP test result showed when co-ozonation and ultrasonication were performed in a sequence the maximum methane production speed and the maximum methane gas production amounts were highest at 10.33 mL CH4/g VS/day and 166.64 mL CH4/g VS. As a result of this study, co-ozonation with ultrasonication would be useful for solubilization of organic sludge before the anaerobic digestion
