The purpose of this study was to examine the teacher-related influential factors on infant child care teacher s efficacy beliefs. The teacher-related variables included child care teacher s age, educational level, career, teacher to infant ratio, and teacher-mother relationship. A total of 132 infant child care teacher worked in Gwang-ju and Jeollanamdo participated in this study. The data were analyzed using frequency, Pearson s correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The main results are as follows. First, both total teacher efficacy and personal efficacy were correlated with teacher s educational level, career, and teacher-mother relationships. General efficacy has positive correlations with only teacher s educational level and teacher-mother relationships. Second, this study found that the cooperative relationships between teacher and mother was the most influential factor on infant teacher s efficacy beliefs. Third, there were some differences in the influential factors of teacher efficacy depending on its sub-variables. The results of this study imply that the relationship with mother is very important factors for infant child care teacher s efficacy beliefs. Also, the present study suggests that different influential factors need to be considered depending on the sub-factors of teacher efficacy in order to improve it.
