언어 창의성의 개념적 고찰

A conceptive research of linguistic originality

본 연구는 언어와 언어 창의성의 개념을 고찰하여 정의하는데 있다. 언어는 우리의 감정, 생각, 사상, 정보, 사물들을 표현할 때 사용하는 상징적인 매체로서 의사소통의 체계이다. 언어는 사고를 전제로 한 지적과정, 인지과정, 사고 과정이며 다양한 사고활동과 창의적 활동이 전제되어야 하며 창의성 교육과 직결된다. 언어 창의성은 언어와 관련된 활동에 민감하고 관계된 문제를 해결할 수 있는 능력이 뛰어난 경우이다. 말하기, 쓰기에서 느끼거나 생각한 것을 말하거나 글로 표현하거나, 다른 사람의 말을 듣거나 글을 이해하는 능력이 창의적이고 탁월한 성취를 보이거나 성취를 나타낼 수 있는 잠재 가능성을 지닌 언어 능력을 지닐 수 있는 것을 말한다. 언어 창의성은 언어 일반을 의미한다는 점에서 국어를 교육의 대상으로 하는 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기의 국어과 관련된 창의성을 포함하며 국어과 외의 언어활동에도 나타나는 언어와 쓰기 창작 등 특정 분야의 창의성도 포함하는 것으로 정의할 수 있다. 언어 창의성의 구성 요인으로는 유창성, 융통성, 독창성, 정교성에 문학적 상상력을 더하여 다섯 가지와 언어 창의성 성향으로는 호기심, 자발성, 독창성, 집착성으로 분류하는데 언어 창의성 신장 교육에 직결되는 구성 능력이다.

This research is about studying and defining the concepts of language and linguistic originality. Language is a symbolic medium and a system of communication that is used to express our feelings, thoughts, beliefs, information, and objects. It is a combination of intellectual, recognizing, and thinking processes based on thoughts. Various thinking and original activities must be involved, and there is a direct relationship with education for originality. One has linguistic originality when he or she is sensitive to activities related to language, and at the same time very talented in solving problems associated with it. It further means one is original in talking or expressing in writing about what one has felt or thought of during a conversation or writing process, or he or she is brilliant in listening and understanding a discussion or writing. It also means having prominent accomplishments or showing a sign of subliminal potentials of such things. Moreover originality in terms of language in education such as listening, speech, reading, and writing, and other linguistic forms of originality in specific areas such as creative writing are included. While five factors that develop linguistic originality are fluency, adaptability, ingeniousness, elaborateness, and literary imagination, dispositions of linguistic originality are curiosity, spontaneity, uniqueness, and tenacity. These are important aspects directly related to education for strengthening one’s linguistic originality.
