초등학생의 비합리적 신념 척도 개발

Development of Irrational Beliefs Scale for Elementary School Students

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 비합리적 신념을 측정할 수 있는 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도의 개발이었다. 본 연구는 경상남도 소재 초등학교에서 선정된 4, 5, 6학년 학생 498명을 대상으로 실시되었다. 연구도구는 박재황의 개인 신념 검사, 최정훈·이정윤이 번안한 비합리적 신념 검사, 그 외 여러 가지 비합리적 신념관련 문항을 수집·검토·분석 및 예비검사를 통해 최종적으로 선정된 98문항으로 구성된 자기보고식 설문지이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 11.5 for Windows 통계 프로그램을 통하여 분석하였다. 자료의 분석은 평균, 표준편차, X², Cramer s V계수를 구하고, 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 그리고 Cronbach α를 구하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 주요한 결과는 다음과 같다. 초등학교 학생의 비합리적 신념 척도는 문항 분석 결과, 본조사에서 91문항이 선정되었다. 초등학생의 비합리적 신념 척도의 문항 구성은 양호한 것으로 나타났다(Cramer s V계수는 모든 문항에서 .338에서 .719 사이를 나타내었다). 91문항을 대상으로 1, 2차 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 전체 변량의 51.32%를 설명하는 11개 요인의 56문항이 도출 및 확인되었다. 최종적으로 선정된 56문항의 내적 일치도를 구체적인 계수로 반영해 주는 Cronbach α계수는 .9249로 비교적 높게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to develop the scale that is able to measure beliefs scale of elementary school students with reliability and validity. The subject was 498 students consisted of 4th, 5th, 6th grades classes selected from four elementary schools in Gyeongsangnam-do. Study instrument was self-report questionnaire, 98 items which is chosen lastly through Individual Beliefs Test by Park Jae-hwang, Irrational Beliefs Test translated by Choi Jeong-hun and Lee Jeong-yun, and pretest that collect, investigate and analyze a variety of irrational beliefs related items. The collected datas are analyzed over statistics program, SPSS 11.5 for Windows. Statistics used for data analysis were M, SD, X2, Cramer s V, factor analysis, and Cronbach s α. The major findings of this study are as follows: The irrational beliefs scale in elementary school students is described as items analysis result. The 91 items out of 98 used on the research was adopted. The items construction of the irrational beliefs scale for elementary school students was good(Cramer s V ranged from .338 to .719). The primary and secondary factor an analysis about 91 items resulted in 11 factors, 56 items explained 51.32% in all the variate. The internal consistency of this scale appeared to be at an acceptable level(Cronbach s α = .9249).
