가정과 교육에 대한 중 고등학생의 인식에 관한 연구

Middle High school student s perception about Home Economics Education

본 연구에서는 교육 수요자인 학생을 대상으로 가정교과목을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지 알아보도록 한다. 세부적으로는 가정 교과 성격, 목표, 필요도, 중요도, 흥미도, 활용도, 만족도 등에 대한 인식을 조사하도록 한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학생들에게 더 나은 교육을 제공하고 나아가 가정생활을 올바르게 영위할 수 있는 자질과 능력을 길러주며 가정과 교육의 미래의 방향을 설정하고 모색하는데 중요한 시사점을 제공하는 기초 자료를 제공하고자 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과 학생들의 교과목 필요도 인식은 높으나 중요도 인식과 만족도, 활용도, 흥미도 등이 그보다 낮다는 점을 유의해 보아야 한다. 필요도 인식 이유가 실생활에 필요한 기술을 익히기 위해서이지만 정작 활용도는 낮게 나타났으며 활용도가 낮은 이유는 실습 시간과 실습 기자재 부족을 이유로 들고 있다. 또한 교과목 성격 인식에서도 실천적 교과목이라는 인식이 가장 높게 나타난 것을 볼 때 가정 교과의 내용구성과 교육 방법에 있어서 실천적 수업을 점진 확대해 나갈 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate student s perception about Home Economics Education based on the characteristics and degree of need, satisfaction, utilization, importance, interesting. The data were collected from 500 participants by questionnaire. The subjects of this survey were 459 students living in the Pusan region . The data were collected by self-administered questionnaires and analyzed by frequencies, one way Anova, Duncan test, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: (1) the regression analysis found that perception the characteristics about Home Economics Education were an important variable affecting the degree of need, satisfaction, utilization, importance, interesting : and (2) there are statistically significant differences in the levels of perception about Home Economics Education based on the characteristics and degree of need, satisfaction, utilization, importance, interesting. between student s different social demographical variables level. Theses results imply to develop of the Home Economics Education curriculum.
