보건교사의 교사효능감이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향

The Effects of School Health Teachers Self-efficacy on Job Satisfaction

이 연구는 건강에 대한 사회적 관심에도 불구하고 학생의 건강수준은 날로 심각해지고 있는 상황에서 학교 구성원들의 건강을 유지․증진하여 학교교육의 성과를 극대화하기 위해 보건교육을 전담하는 보건교사의 교사효능감이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 전북지역의 보건교사 230명을 대상으로 교사효능감과 직무만족도 검사를 실시하였으며, 분석결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보건교사의 교사효능감은 비교적 높게 나타났으며(평균 3.60), 보건서비스 효능감과 수업효능감이 높았다. 직무만족도는 보통 이상의 수준(평균 3.34)으로 인정지위와 근무환경에서 비교적 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 교사효능감은 학교 소재지와 연령, 교직경력에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 직무만족도는 연령, 결혼여부, 교직경력에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 교사효능감과 직무만족도의 상관분석 결과 직무만족도의 담당업무를 제외한 모든 하위요인에서 상호 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교사효능감은 직무만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 업무대인관계 효능감과 수업효능감, 지역사회연계 효능감이 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 연구 결과에 근거하여 보건교사의 효능감 증진을 통해 직무만족도를 높일 수 있는 정책과 프로그램이 제공될 필요가 있으며, 특히 업무대인관계 효능감과 지역사회연계 효능감이 직무만족도에 중요한 영향을 주고 있음에도 불구하고 실제 이들의 수준이 낮게 나타나고 있으므로 이를 제고할 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 한다.

The purpose of this study was to contribute to enhancing school health teachers professional job performance by analyzing the effects of school health teachers self-efficacy on job satisfactory. The participants were 230 school health teachers, they have registered at Jeonbuk Office of Education. And, the survey was conducted from August to September, 2010. The collected data was analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 17.0 program. The average of self-efficacy and job satisfaction in health teachers showed 3.60 and 3.34 respectively. The results of analysis show that health service was the highest as 3.83 in the sub-factors of teachers self-efficacy, and a recognition was the highest as 3.88 in the sub-factors of job satisfaction. There is significant difference in the degree of teachers self-efficacy according to the school location, age, teaching career, also significant difference in job satisfaction according to age, marital status, teaching career. Teachers self-efficacy is statistically significant in all factors excepts responsibility of job satisfaction . Especially, work & interpersonal, teaching, and connection, local community efficacies significantly effected in the job satisfaction. It is important to develop various comprehensive program for improving job satisfaction by increase school health teachers self-efficacy. In addition, it is necessary to promote the teachers self-efficacy including work & interpersonal and connection with local community.
