교감의 교육복지에 대한 인식 유형 연구

A Study on Perception of Vice principle s concerning the Educational Welfare: Focusing on a Q-Methodology Approach

본 연구는 교육복지에 대한 교감의 인식을 탐색하고, 각 유형별 특성을 파악하는 과정을 통해, 우리나라 교육복지 방향성에 대한 논의를 진행하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 교감이 지니는 교육 복지에 대한 주관적 성향을 파악하는 본 연구의 취지에 따라 인간의 주관성을 측정할 수 있도록 고안된 Q 방법론을 적용하였다. Q 표본은 면담과 문헌연구를 통해 수집된 84개의 진술문을 전문가의 자문으로 삭제 또는 통합하여 최종적으로 37개를 선정하였으며, P 표본은 전국의 교감 30명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과 제1유형 ‘국민기본권으로서의 교육복지 추구형’, 제2유형 ‘개념과 정책에 근거한 교육기능향상 시스템으로서의 교육복지 추구형’, 제3유형 ‘교육형평성 실현을 위한 통합적 보살핌 추구형’, 제4유형 ‘국가 인적자본 투자전략으로서의 교육활동 추구형’, 그리고 제5유형 ‘교육복지 역할 부정에 근거한 교육과 교육복지의 분리 추구형’의 5가지 유형이 나타났다. 연구의 시사점에서는 ‘교육계 스스로의 교육복지에 대한 공유와 합의의 필요성’, ‘국가적 철학과 전략을 담을 수 있는 교육복지 중심기구의 설치’, ‘가정에 대한 교육복지 개입수준’, ‘연구에서 나타난 가설 검증과 인식 확대를 위한 후속연구의 필요성’을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to discuss the direction of educational welfare through investigating the perception of vice principles about educational welfare and identifying characteristics of types of it. This study used Q methodology which measures the subjectivity of human to investigate subjective tendency of vice principles toward educational welfare. 37 Q statements were finally selected by professionals among 84 statements which were gathered through interviews and documentary researches and P samples as subjects were 30 vice principles across the country. The results of the study were identified 5 types : Type Ⅰ is Pursuit of educational welfare as basic human rights , Type Ⅱ is Pursuit of educational welfare as a functional improvement system of education based on concepts and policies about it , Type Ⅲ is Pursuit of inclusive care to achieve educational equity , Type Ⅳ is Pursuit of educational activity as an investment strategy of national human resources , Type Ⅴ is Pursuit of separation between educational welfare and education based on denial of educational welfare s role . The study suggested that should consider the need of share and consensus about educational welfare within education sectors , the need of head quarter based on the national philosophy and strategy about educational welfare , coordinating intervention level for the family as means of educational welfare and the need of follow-up research to expand hypothesis testing and awareness presented in this study .
