행군마을의 평생학습공동체 형성과정에서 나타난 학습 생태적 특성

The Learning Ecological Characteristics in the Process of Lifelong Learning Community Development; in Hang-Gun Village

본 연구는 평생학습공동체를 형성하는 공동체학습 활동과정을 생태학적으로 조망하여 그 특성을 밝힘으로써, 인간과 자연의 조화와 생명성, 상호작용으로 지속가능한 성장과 변화의 메커니즘으로서의 평생교육학적 의의를 조명하고자 하였다. 이에 고령화된 농촌 마을에 평생학습마을을 조성하고 있는 용인시 행군마을을 대상으로 문헌자료, 포커스 인터뷰, 참여관찰, 비공식 면담 자료를 수집하여 질적 사례 연구를 실시하였다. 행군마을의 평생학습공동체 형성과정은 기반조성기, 적응기, 유지기, 성장기 등 4단계로 구분되었다. 기반조성기에는 마을회관의 재구조화로 평생학습마을로의 틀바꿈이 일어났으며, 적응기에는 새로운 학습 환경으로 인해 질서와 혼돈이 공존한 시기로 수동적 학습자에서 책임감을 바탕으로 한 능동적인 자기역할 탐색이 이루어졌다. 유지기에는 쓰임새 학습의 생활화와 가시적 학습 성과로 공동체 학습활동이 주민들의 일상이 되었다. 성장기는 역동적인 공동체 참여 학습이 확장되며 상생의 학습 추동력이 발현되었다. 행군마을의 평생학습공동체 형성과정을 통해 나타난 학습 생태적 특성으로는 다양한 구성 요소들 간의 역동적 상호작용을 통한 복잡성, 평생학습의 공진화, 상호 호혜적 평생학습망 형성, 성장메커니즘으로서의 학습역동 등이다.

This study aims to understand the meaning of lifelong learning community : interaction between harmony of human being and life theory as sustainable development in the concept of the mechanism changes by clarifying the formation of lifelong learning community with the ecological view. Hence the qualitative case research method was implemented in this study through collecting the data from bibliographic data, focused interview, participants observation and unofficial interview in Hang-Gun Village, Yong-in City where the lifelong learning village built up in graying rural area. As a result, this study drew out four steps as the formation of lifelong learning community in Hang Gun; 1)foundation forming, 2)adopting, 3)maintaining, 4)growing. In foundation forming stage, the function and role of community hall were restructured into the lifelong learning village. In adopting stage, co-existence of an order and chaos featured the newly formed learning environment, the learner has transfigured from passive role into active learner based on the sense of responsibility. In the period of maintaining, community learning became the resident s life in accordance with useful learning and tangible learning outcomes. In growing stage, the expansion of participation in community learning influenced the impetus of co-exist learning. The learning ecological characteristics derived from formation of lifelong learning community in Hang-Gun village as follows: complexity of dynamic interaction between various components, co-evolution of lifelong learning, formation of reciprocal lifelong learning network and dynamic learning as the growth mechanism.
