학교중심교육과정에 대한 이해 와 개발 관점 탐색

A Study on Viewpoints of Understanding and Developing School-based Curriculum Development(SBCD)

본 연구는 SBCDD와 초등교육과정에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 시사점을 찾는데 있다. 이를 위해 SBCD의 개념과 성격을 중심으로 SBCD의 의미와 SBCD를 등장시킨 교육학적 배경을 살펴보았다. 그리고 교육과정 어원, 개념, 그리고 성격을 분석하여 초등교육과정을 구체적으로 이해할 수 있는 차이성과 연계성의 관점을 검토하였다. 이를 기초로 SBCD의 시사점을 탐색하였다. 첫째, SBCD는 의미상 보다 적절한 교육과정을 제공하는 것으로 독자성 과 연계성 을 특징으로 한다. SBCD는 교육의 사회적, 철학적, 심리적 측면에서 교육이나 교육과정에 관점의 변화 및 학교, 학습지 및 교사의 역할 변화를 배경으로 등장하였다. 둘째, 초등교육과정에 대한 이해는 초등에서 보다 적절한 SBCD개발과 관련이 있다. 초등교육과정은 currire 보다는 curicule 라는 어원에 더 가깝게, 경험성과 활동성을 구현하는 것으로, 일상경험을 교과개념 으로 연계하는 개념화의 단계로 인식할 수 있다. 셋째, SBCD가 초등교육과정에 주는 시사점은 SBCD체제는 광범위한 수준에서 초등교육과정이 승법적으로 운영 될 수 있도록 허용하고 있다는 것, 그리고 교사의 실천적 지식과 교수내용지식을 중요하게 부각시킴으로써 초등교사의 전문성 영역을 다른 각도(제 3의 영역)에서 찾을 수 있도록 시사한다. SBCD는 교육과정 개발 에 초점을 두지만, 교사의 입장에서 이해 와 개발 의 관점은 모두 필요함으로 본 글에서는 이 둘을 같이 다루었다.

This study explores the significance of SBCD in regards to the understanding of elementary school curriculum. To this purpose, this article explains and illustrates the educational meaning and background of SBCD. It analyzes the etymology, concept and characteristics of curriculum and investigates a viewpoint to understand the elementary curriculum accurately and finds out some significances of SBCD. First, SBCD means to provide more appropriate. curriculum and be characterized as the uniqueness and relevance. SBCD comes from a changed viewpoint of education or curriculum in the social education, educational philosophy, educational psychology. Second, Elementary school curriculum is more related to curricule than to currire etymologically. It includes experience and activity in nature, and an understanding of the conceptual process which connects life experiences into subject concepts. Third. SBCD implies that elementary school curriculum is implemented by multiple approaches. Finally, SBCD stresses practical knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge of teacher. Although SBCD focuses on curriculum development , the teacher is needed to both understand and develop the curriculum. in this context, this article deals with both together.
