한·일 체육과 교육과정 내용 탐색

The Analysis of Content of Physical Education Curriculum in Korea and Japan

이 연구는 양국의 체육과 교육과정의 내용 변천과정을 탐색하고 향후 교육과정 개정 시 내용영역의 선저 방향에 시사점을 제공하고자 시작되었다. 양국은 모두 스포츠 종목 위주로 체육교육 내용을 구성하여 학교급과 학년별로 지도되는 교육 내용 영역을 명시하고, 하위 내용인 세부적인 활동 영역까지 구체적으로 제시하고 있다. 이처럼 내용 체계와 단원의 구성에 있어 유사한 경향을 나타내고 있는 일본은 한국보다 영역에 따른 세부 내용이 다소 적은 편임을 알 수 있고, 일본의 체육교육 내용에는 우리나라처럼 스케이트나 스키 등의 계절 운동이 포함되어 있지 않음을 알 수 있다. 또한, 양국 모두 민족 전통적인 체육활동 즉, 우리나라는 태권도 및 씨름, 일본은 스모 및 유도를 교육과정 편제상에 다루고 있다는 유사점을 찾아볼 수 있다. 이는 양국 모두 자국의 민족성이 반영된 신체활동을 강조하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 우리나라는 시대별로 강조된 학습 내용 영역이 조금씩 다르게 변해왔다고는 하지만 각 시기별로 교육과정 내용은 매우 유사한 영역 구조와 학습 내용으로 되어 있다. 또한, 각 시기의 체육과 교육과정 내용은 모두 학교급별로 점차 심화되는 양상을 띠고 있다.

For the first course of study there are 5 organized possessions, such as hand gymnastic, sport, dance, sanitation and Physical Education. Circulations exercise and orderly exercise was added into new possessions in the thirds course of the study. Individual and group exercise possessions for Middle school and lifetime sporting and outdoor activities possessions for High school was established in the forth course of the study. For the sixth course of the study there were organized into 8 such as field and track, gymnastics, swimming, individual and group exercise, dance, weight training, theory, preservation of health. In the seventh course of the study presenting 8 possessions such as field and track, gymnastic, swimming, individual and group exercise, dance, weight training, theory, and preservation of health. Japan has organized gymnastic, sport, dance, physical education, theory, preservation of health as study content as Physical Education content in Sohwa 22, and presented possessions separated into focused relation, selective relation and Physical Education theory in Sohwa 26. They presented separated detailed sport and knowledge possessions in Sohwa 33∼35 and they presented after adjusting traditional theory into knowledge. In Sohwa 43∼45 free gymnastics possession were presented as gymnastics possession, and they organized into 8 possessions such as gymnastics, weight training, field and track, swimming, martial art, ball game, dance, Physical Education theory. In Sohwa 52∼53, they organized 7 possessions provided from 3 area of gymnastic, sport, and dance into 5 possessions as gymnastic, individual sport, group sport, martial art, and dance. They reorganized into 8 possessions in Pyungsung first year, and organized 8 possessions renaming gymnastics possession into body building possession in Sohwa 10∼11.
