This study focuses on the continuity of contents scheme in both 2009 and 2015 Revised English curriculum. 2009 and 2015 elementary English curriculum were Compared in view of two aspects; one is the educational direction and the other Standards to be achieved by 3rd~4 th and 5th~6 th grade students. There were completely different educational directions between 2009 and 2015 contents scheme. Distinctively, the new concept of ``key competence`` was introduced in 2015 English Curriculum and requires students`` ability of communication in English, Self-management, collaboration, and knowledge information process. These concepts Have been converged as a form of key competence through the several revisions(2007, 2008, 2009) of the English curriculum The analyzed results of standards of eash Language function (listening, speaking, reading and writing) showed highly remarkable Continuity degree of both curriculums. Over 90% ratio of standard continuity was Showed in 3th~4 grades as partially revised form of standard statement. On the Other hand, even 40% ratio of standards in 2009 was accepted without any revision In 2015 revised elementary English curriculum.
