The Study on the Teacher Employment Examination for Elementary School Teacher

The purposes of this paper are to review the teacher employment examination for elementary school teacher, and to offer suggestions in regard to improving teacher employment examination. With importance of teacher`s roles in mind, teacher employment examination must meet the specific needs of elementary school. But regulation governing the teacher examination is excessively detailed, it leaves no space for educators to adopt a system that takes account of special needs of each school, and the validation and reliability of current employment examination in selecting qualified teachers through the competition is not high. Thus, there is a need to align elementary teacher examination for elementary school. To improving the teacher employment examination and securing qualified teachers, along with improving related laws, we should put all their efforts in improving the educational system.
